Snehapoorvam Scholarship Scheme 2025-26: Snehapoorvam scholarship is for students whose father mother or both have passed away. The scholarship amount is from Rs.3000/- to Rs.10,000/- every year. The Snehapoorvam scholarship is sponsored by the Social Security Mission of the State Govt as financial assistance for education to the students whose father or mother or both have expired. It is Rs.3000/- every year for children below 5 years and for students studying from 1st to 5th standard. From 6th to 10th standard students would get Rs.5000/- a year and it is Rs.7500/- for students studying in plus two or equivalency courses. Rs.10000/- is given as a scholarship for students of degree or professional degree courses.

Snehapoorvam Scholarship Instructions
This opportunity is open to students from government or aid-funded institutions only. Orphanage students are not eligible for this grant. In the case of applicants, those in the BPL category would receive preference. (certificate and a copy of ration card must be presented) For the APL category, the annual earnings should not exceed Rs. 20,000 or more. For people who live in cities, it may be as high as Rs.22,375or. The income certificate of the revenue officer needs to be presented to prove this.A joint account for students and their parents with any of the national banks is required. A copy of the passbook where the images of the two (join the account holders) are pasted is included with the application. The Aadhar card used by the student is also submitted in the application.

മാതാവോ പിതാവോ രണ്ടു പേരുമോ മരണപ്പെട്ട കുട്ടികൾക്ക് കേരള സർക്കാരിന്റെ സാമൂഹ്യ സുരക്ഷ മിഷൻ വഴി നൽകുന്ന സ്കോളർഷിപ്പ് ആണ് സ്നേഹപൂർവ്വം
- ഒന്നാം ക്ലാസ് മുതൽ അഞ്ചാം ക്ലാസ് വരെയുള്ള കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ഓരോ വർഷവും വർഷം 3000 രൂപ ലഭിക്കും
- ആറാം ക്ലാസ് മുതൽ പത്താം ക്ലാസ് വരെയുള്ള കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ഓരോ വർഷവും 5000 രൂപ ലഭിക്കും
- പ്ലസ് വൺ, പ്ലസ് ടു കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ഓരോ വർഷവും 7500 രൂപ ലഭിക്കും
- ഡിഗ്രിയ്ക്ക് പഠിക്കുന്ന കുട്ടികൾക്ക് ഓരോ വർഷവും 10,000 രൂപയും ലഭിക്കും
കുട്ടികൾ പഠിക്കുന്ന വിദ്യാഭ്യാസ സ്ഥാപനം വഴിയാണ് അപേക്ഷ നൽകേണ്ടത്

( ഓർക്കുക ജോയിന്റ് അക്കൗണ്ട് തന്നെ വേണം സിംഗിൾ അക്കൗണ്ട് പറ്റില്ല ബാങ്കിൽ ചിലപ്പോൾ സിംഗിൾ അക്കൗണ്ട് മതി എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാൽ സ്നേഹപൂർവ്വം സ്കോളർഷിപ്പിന് വേണ്ടിയാണ് എന്ന് പ്രത്യേകം പറയണം )
5. റേഷൻ കാർഡ് BPL ആണെങ്കിൽ അതിന്റെ കോപ്പി മതിയാകും പിന്നെ വരുമാന സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റിന്റെ ആവശ്യമില്ല
കാർഡ് APL ആണെങ്കിൽ വില്ലേജ് ഓഫീസിൽ നിന്ന് വാങ്ങുന്ന വരുമാന സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ്
(ഗ്രാമ പ്രദേശങ്ങളിൽ 20,000 രൂപയിൽ താഴെയുള്ള വരുമാന സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ്/നഗരപ്രദേശമാണെങ്കിൽ 22,375 രൂപയിൽ താഴെയുള്ള വരുമാന സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് )
(ഓൺലൈൻ വഴി അപേക്ഷിച്ച ശേഷം വില്ലേജ് ഓഫീസിൽ പോയി സ്നേഹപൂർവ്വം സ്കോളർഷിപ്പിന് വേണ്ടിയാണെന്ന് പ്രത്യേകം പറയണം . കാരണം മിക്ക സ്ക്കോളർഷിപ്പിനും 1 ലക്ഷം മുതൽ 2.5 ലക്ഷം വരെയൊക്കെ ആണ് വരുമാന പരിധി. നേരിട്ട് പറഞ്ഞില്ല എങ്കിൽ മുകളിൽ പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്ന വരുമാന പരിധിയിൽ താഴെയുള്ള വരുമാന സർട്ടിഫിക്കറ്റ് കിട്ടിയെന്ന് വരില്ല . അപ്പോൾ പിന്നെ സ്കോളർഷിപ്പിന് അപേക്ഷിക്കാനും കഴിയില്ല )
ഇത്രയും കാര്യങ്ങൾപഠിക്കുന്ന സ്കൂളിന്റെ / കോളേജിന്റെ സ്ഥാപന മേധാവിയ്ക്ക് സമർപ്പിക്കണം

What happens after submission / how is approval done?
A. After submission:
The institution (school/college) verifies the application details and forwards it through the online portal to the Executive Director, KSSM.
Once verified and approved, the scholarship amount is disbursed (usually credited to the bank account of the child/guardian).
Can students in professional courses and degree courses apply?
Yes. Students enrolled in degree/professional courses are eligible under this scheme (provided all other eligibility criteria are met).
What is the cut-off income criteria for APL families?
In earlier scheme details: For APL families, annual income should be below ₹ 20,000 in rural local body areas and below ₹ 22,375 in urban areas.
What if the application misses the deadline?
Typically applications submitted after the deadline are not accepted. It’s advised to apply well before the closing date and verify submission.
